If you have seen someone kissing Matz or DHH at a conference, it was probably him.

    Christophe is the founder of PullReview, an automated code review for Ruby and Rails. He is a Ruby and C++ developer. When he's not writing disease simulators or PullReview, he helps others with development challenges, writes blog post, has co-founded Ruby Belgium, and likes to talk at conferences.

    Joshua Lat serves as the Scrum Master, Lead Developer, and Infrastructure Engineer of Deal Grocer.     Roman Sandler is a Rails web developer at Zendesk in Melbourne, Australia. He has also been involved non-professionally in some fun projects on tomography, machine learning and other mathematical algorithms. His hobbies include rock climbing and hiking, and he can occasionally be found hopelessly trying to keep up on a soccer field.

SMX Taguig (SM Aura)

RubyConfPH will be held at SMX Convention Center (Taguig). SMX is on the 3rd and 4th levels of SM Aura Premier shopping mall.

The venue is situated at Bonifacio Global City (also known as The Fort), the newest urban lifestyle and booming business district of Metro Manila. Home to many modern skyscrapers, upscale condominiums and multinational educational institutions, it is very safe to roam around BGC and enjoy its numerous shopping establishments, trendy restaurants and other recreational places. BGC is 30-45 minutes away from the airport and 15 minutes away from Makati City Central Business District.

Transportation and Parking Details

Jeepneys from MRT Ayala Station going to McKinley which could unload passengers right across SM Aura

The Fort Buses (east route) unload passengers on 26th Street, by the side of SM Aura

Cabs can drop you off at the SM Aura entrance

Mall parking and valet parking are available for private cars


The conference hotel is Seda Hotel which is 5 minutes away from the venue.

Rates already include taxes and service charge. It's almost similar to the price on their site but on the website you have to pay the full amount when you book.

If you book through us, you will pay at the hotel when you check out. You can also cancel up to 2 days before the conference.

If you need to book online (due to company policy or other reasons) you do not need to go through us. Unless you want to email your credit card details. (This is still required for online group bookings, unfortunately.)
